Welcome to my online storage box. Honestly, my blog is probably vastly more interesting. So go there.

Still here? Drat! Well here's some recent news and information about this site and its (current) purpose:

  • 22 Apr 2009I've successfully moved my blog to blog.timparenti.com, just in time for the China trip.
  • 2 Mar 2009I caved and registered TimParenti.com. It was only a matter of time, anyway. In due course, this might be an actual personal website! Wow!
  • 14 Feb 2009I've actually been able to pay for it now, so I'm good until January 2012.

For now, this is just a place where I can dump PHP and MySQL files that are presently in various states of progress until they're ready enough for the public. Unfortunately for you, since most of these things aren't ready for the public, I'm not going to link to them here. You can only access those projects hosted here to which you have been given a direct link.

You can, however, check out the following things which are at least semi-public and partway done. Please note that I usually clear out the associated databases frequently when I'm working on something like this, so there may not actually be any real content at any given time. Sorry about that, but you get what you pay for, right?

  • 11 Jul 2009I've created a utility to convert long photo URLs on Flickr to shortened "flic.kr" URLs for use in character-limited media (like Twitter). Very basic for now, but additional features and integration may come later.
  • 6 Jan 2009I'm working on improvements to the website for my friend's comic, dividebyzerocomic.com, to make it more dynamic, to allow for her to directly upload new episodes, to embargo release until a specified date (if desired), and to implement an auto-updating RSS feed. You can see my work-in-progress as it comes to fruition.
  • 6 Jan 2009A little mini mobile-web interface I made to help me keep in touch when I was on the road and had no Internet access, except for a little workaround on my phone.

Of course, you may just be trying to get in touch with me. I tend to keep a busy schedule, so don't be surprised if I'm in a class, meeting, or rehearsal if and when you should call. I've posted my public calendar to allow my contacts to get a better handle on my schedule. It's linked directly to my personal calendar that I use every day, but excludes most of those little "note-to-self" type events that can be moved to just about anywhere, so it is nearly always an accurate and up-to-date represenation of my true schedule.

Special thanks to Corey for making this hosting possible, and to Shayne and Kevin for putting up with it. I suppose you can visit their main site, too. Why not?
